もしも私に愛猫がいたとしたら、孤独を感じる夜にそっと猫が寄り添ってくれたら、きっと嬉しさと温かさで心がほぐれるだろうなと想像して描きました。ふとした人の優しさや気遣い、ちょっと良いことがあったときにほろっと涙ぐんでしまう私自身の過去の経験を基に描いています。

I created this work by imagining that, if I had a beloved cat of my own, and if that cat were to quietly stay by my side on a lonely night, my heart would surely soften with happiness and warmth.

The piece is based on my own past experiences of finding myself moved to tears by small acts of kindness, thoughtful gestures from others, or moments when something gently good happened.
